And the winner is...

Before we get to the exciting part...

Richard Turlington Architects is honored to continue to offer this amazing annual fundraiser with our 5th Annual Gingerbread Competition supporting Make - A - Wish Connecticut.

This year we raised $10,100! That is one whole wish!

In 5 the years since we created this amazing and creative fundraiser , RTA has raised over $45,000--a number we intend to keep growing in years to come!

and Avery Turlington, Chief of Operations at Richard Turlington Architects.

And now...we're thrilled to announce the winners

of the 5th annual Make-A-Wish Connecticut Gingerbread Competition!

1st Place!

Barbie Dream World

Richard Turlington Architects

2023's blockbuster Barbie movie provided plenty of inspiration for RTA to create this perfectly pink dreamworld. The team supplemented their materials with pink foam core which, while pretty, was not the easiest to work with (a lesson learned for next year!). They enjoyed sampling all the pink candies before deeming them worthy of the sweet design, and they braved many afternoons spent spray-painting the creation to achieve just the right shades of pink.

Make - A - Wish Connecticut's Wish Kid's Choice was easy because, Up, is her favorite movie and this gingerbread house made her smile and made her heart warm!

Everyone at Richard Turlington Architects wants to express our sincere appreciation for every individual, company, and family that submitted an entry, gave a donation, and showed their support for this year's event. Without you, this would not be possible.
