Richard Turlington Architects Inc was the lead production consultant on a new tower in downtown Ho Chi Minh City for Vietcombank in Vietnam. Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects was the design architect. The project is a 34-story tower with a four-level below-grade parking structure. The project is currently under construction and is utilizing a unique top-down construction method due to limited site availability. The project is scheduled to be completed in May 2015 months at a cost of $80M.
Our efforts included documenting the substructure parking and office areas of the site, coordinating the structural transition from the podium to tower and documenting all peripheral grade structures. In addition, Richard Turlington has been overseeing the construction on site in Vietnam.
