Vassar Tennis Facility
This was a feasibility study for Vassar College. The College was interested in developing a court tennis facility. Court Tennis is the progenitor of the modern racquet sports, its origin dating back to the thirteenth century. There are currently fewer than forty courts in the world. This estimated $2 million facility is a 12,000 s.f. addition to Kenyon Hall. The form of the addition is both respectful of the existing architecture as well as expressive of the unique nature of the sport it accommodates.
