University of New Haven Biomedical Engineering Lab
The liberal arts program at the University of New Haven offers diverse studies in the Biological Sciences. To support a thriving classroom environment, Richard Turlington Architects renovated a 13,000 sq. ft. area that encapsulated 8 biology labs. Our design changes allowed the addition of new equipment, including:
• Multiple incubators
• Digital microscopes
• Industrial grade freezers
• Autoclaves
These features help students perform more efficient research on microorganisms, animal and plant cells, and tissue cultures.
