Tokyo American Club
The Tokyo American Club is a large facility built in Tokyo by a Japanese constructor who took great pride in their abilities and detailing. This project is a good example of ultimate pride in your craft from both the designers, Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, and the constructor who pushed the envelope of construction means and methods to provide a beautifully composed and detailed building. Richard Turlington’s role was to help PCPA with detailing many spatial “experiences” throughout this facility including TAC’s main lounge space and several restaurants.
