Seaside, Florida is a small resort community along the Gulf of Mexico. It is defined by the New Urbanist design established under Robert Orr's guidance. Robert practices architecture in Connecticut where he's crafted an aesthetic body of work that intertwines traditional values with modernism.
Robert has retained Richard Turlington Architects to develop design and construction documents for his latest Seaside community creation. This 3-story home infuses the Florida vernacular of open and airy spaces, tin roofs, verandas, and shutters within a traditionally detailed structure. The result is playful and elegant.
The enclosed space totals 6,700sf with breathtaking rooftop terraces overlooking the Gulf and a secluded pool terrace open to the kitchen and ground floor gym.
