This year we are thrilled to announce the winners
of the 4th annual gingerbread competition for Make - A - Wish Connecticut!
The Wising Place in Trumbull invited us for a tour of Friday night and it really underscored how important this is. We are so honored to continue to support this amazing agency, thank you for hosting us Kim and Christina,
and a special thank you to Victoria!
In First Place!
Babbidge Construction, "Winter Wonder Entertainment"
Babbidge Construction entered this year’s competition with a very clever themed design. They built a wrestling arena featuring WWE superstar John Cena, who holds the Guinness World Record for granting the most wishes thru the Make-A-Wish Foundation! Babbidge generously offered to donate one dollar for every vote that their entry received. Due to their record-breaking total of 5,028 votes, we were able to present Make - A - Wish a check for $15,028.00, surpassing all of the previous year’s competitions! We are so grateful to Babbidge Construction for helping to make dreams come true.

And this year's Wish Kid Choice Award goes to.......

In addition to these winners, Make – A – Wish implemented a Wish Kid's Choice Award this year. Wish Kid, Victoria, had the honor of choosing her favorite entry. And as much as it may seem that her selection was rigged, we promise it was not! Victoria expressed that her selection was inspired by all that her mom does for Christmas around their home, which includes making gingerbread houses.
