Dubai Tower 1
This is an intriguing housing project, an 83 story residential and commercial tower, including 608 apartments, 50,000 square-foot of offices, and 7500 ft.² of retail. Also included is a grande covered port, a cochair entrance with an overhead bridge that connects the tower to a seven story parking garage for 1250 cars. The deck of the parking garage is covered with amenity functions, such as club, pavilion, childcare, facility, tennis, courts, swimming, pool, and gym.
Richard Turlington Architects was retained by Pelli Clarke & Partners to prepare the design development and construction documentation as well as assist the client with bidding and negotiation. Construction recently resumed after the pandemic abated and Richard Turlington Architects is expected to assist with on site construction observation services ensuring the design intent is fully realized.
