Delamar Mystic Hotel
The Delamar Mystic Hotel is situated on the water's edge on a prominent site adjacent to the Mystic Seaport Museum at 105 Greenmanville Ave, Connecticut. This is a boutique hotel with 30 guest rooms, a restaurant and a spa. There are 3 buildings on site, totaling 30,000 sf and includes a pool terrace and outdoor bar directly connected to the adjacent marina.
Richard Turlington Architects is the Architect of Record while Beinfield Architects is the Design Architect. The collaborative effort by both architects, working alongside the Owner, allowed the project to be designed and documented in less than 16 weeks.
A modern vernacular is infused with nautical detailing to create a sophisticated, understated approach to a prominent and traditionally conservative New England harbor townscape.
