City Tower One in Dubai
The mixed-use development of a high-end skyscraper in Dubai. The tower is home to lavish apartments that appear to stretch into thin air, offices, retail and an adjoining car park with an amenity deck fit with an infinity pool for those sweltering hot days. The roof of the parking garage is also covered with amenity functions such as a club pavilion, child care facility, tennis courts, and gym. The car park is attached to the tower by a port-cochere with an elevated foot bridge to safely and comfortably transport its residents. The total area accounts for over 1.5M sqft. The tower extends to a height of 1200 feet. The overall design shimmers with a sense of elegance and delicacy, leaving no stone unturned when it comes to selecting only the finest quality finishes and furnishing.
Richard Turlington Architects was retained by Cesar Pelli and Associates to prepare the design development and construction documents as well as assistance with bidding and negotiation. Construction is scheduled to commence in 2021 and RTA is expected to assist in on-site construction observation services to make sure the design intent is fully realized.
