Douglas Brown
Raised in Killingworth, Connecticut, Douglas discovered his interest in building and design while helping with projects and maintenance needs at his family’s home. Over the years, he developed a passion for construction practices and the beauty that ermgers from hard work and dedication. In high school, Doug continued exploring architecture and ultimately pursued the field as a student at Roger Williams University School of Architecture. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Architecture and took a special interest in adaptive reuse, digital design and manufacturing, and new material uses.
Doug joined Richard Turlington Architects in the spring of 2023 following two years of carbon fiber boat building and composite construction work for a leading company in Bristol Rhode Island.
His passions include learning and playing chess, residential construction and renovation, running, and culinary arts.
